Chef Destine

Inspired by her Caribbean culture, Destine Gooden launched Parsley Fresh LLC in 2020 bridging the vast flavors of her Jamaican and American heritage. 

 

Destine started off cooking at occasional social gatherings as a way to bring her friends together. After resigning from her previous job, she decided to turn her passion for cooking into her main form of bread and butter.

Creating an intimate bond with food, she uses it as a way to connect back to self through guided, intuitive cooking.  

Finding that perfect balance between food that is nourishing, while being centered around cultural liberation.

She says, “Cooking is therapeutic for me. It reminds me that I don't have to go far to enjoy the fruits of life. I can enjoy them right from the comfort of my own kitchen.”
